Park & Recreation

Meadow Park, behind the Firehouse, is the primary open space within the Borough. It does have a pavilion and provides a relaxing spot for people to walk and fish in the Creek. The Borough intends to further develop the Park by adding a walking path and other activities as our funding and grant funding allow.

The Perkiomen Creek bounds the eastern side of Meadow Park. It’s a good spot for fishing and watching the occasional canoeist!

The entrance to Schwenksville at the south end of town was completed in early 2009. The Women’s Civic Club of Schwenksville is helping the Borough maintain the area, for which we thank them greatly.
Hours of Operation
Meadow Park is open from sunrise to sunset.
The closest park with play areas for young children is at Plank Road. The Rotary Club has organized youth baseball and softball events at its facility off of Cemetery Road (Seitz Rd) between Township Line and North Limerick Road (Perkiomen Ave.)
