Zoning & Building
The Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer/Zoning Officer is responsible for administering the Code of Ordinances of Schwenksville Borough which includes the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, Stormwater Management Ordinance and Building and Life Safety codes.
Please contact Schwenksville Borough before any construction activities take place in order to find out if a permit is required.
Rental Units
- All rental units must be registered with the Borough. $10 annual fee
- Any time there is a change in tenant, the Borough must be notified and a Use and Occupancy Inspection must take place.
Resale Use and Occupancy Inspections
- All sales of residential and commercial buildings must have a Use and Occupancy Inspection.
